VIVO LIFE CORDÓN is located at the intersection of Cnel Street. Brandzen and Martin C. Martínez Street, in the heart of the university area, in an environment connected to all public services, a few meters from 18 de Julio Avenue, the main commercial, gastronomic and leisure thoroughfare of the city, and with an excellent connectivity to all of Montevideo.

The building assumes the condition of a corner property and is part of the regulatory framework that affects it. In this way, a piece with a strong urban presence is proposed, in an area with great growth and appreciation, mediating between the different bordering situations and the relationship of the building with the street and the corner situation. In this sense, various volumetric games are formed that articulate the impact and change of scale of the project and the relationship with the pedestrian.

It has 84 homes under condominium ownership, a commercial premises, and their respective regulatory garages. The typical floor plan of the vertical development contains a patio inside and focuses most of its typologies towards the exterior perimeter, seeking maximum contact with the public space, prioritizing views of the city in the units.

On the ground floor, the building faces the street, accompanying the double condition of fronts that the corner property poses. In the corner and with greater presence towards Cnel. Brandzen considers the commercial premises, which is committed to the synergy and exchange of the public and commercial in the neighborhood. On Martin C. Martínez Street there is pedestrian access to the main hall of the building.

On level 10 (corresponding to the clearance) there are two open barbecue areas for common use and on the last level there is an open barbecue area, an area for a solarium and a multipurpose room. These spaces are of special consideration and importance within the project, since they are proposed as spaces for co-ownership, stimulating their use and exchange within the collective. In this sense, Level 1 proposes qualifying the patio space with a specific landscape project, surrounded by equipment and services (such as the gym and a multipurpose space) for the use of co-ownership.

VIVO LIFE CORDÓN is presented as a piece of contemporary design through the use of various materials and technologies, with a formal will concentrated in its constructive expression. The façade stands out for the play of transparencies and opacities and the dynamism provided by the exterior solar protections.
The form and materiality of the project ends up qualifying the historical centrality of Montevideo, today in increasing evolution.
